One of modern TV and moviedom's most sturdy and reliable character actors, David Paymer dreamed of being an actor from early childhood. Although he came from a traditional middle-class Jewish family that urged him to become a doctor or lawyer, Paymer felt more at home in the world of the thespian. At 14, he used a fake I.D. to see The Graduate, which starred a young Dustin Hoffman. He grew up in Oceanside, New York, where his father was in the scrap metal business. His mother, a homemaker, had fled Belgium with her family to escape the Nazis. When his father quit the scrap metal business to pursue music, it inspired young Paymer to give his acting dream a try. His aborted big break came when he was cast in the TV series, St. Elsewhere, as "Dr. Wayne Fiscus"- then promptly dumped and replaced by Howie Mandel. Luckily, his real
"That was like getting my passport stamped", said Paymer and he was quickly in demand by directors such as Spielberg ("Amistad"), Redford ("Quiz Show"), Oliver Stone ("Nixon"), David Mamet ("State & Main"), Steven Soderbergh ("Ocean's 13"), and Sam Raimi ("Drag me to Hell"). Chameleon-like in his portrayals, Paymer has since starred in hundreds of roles in film & television, notably "The American President", "Get Shorty", "Payback", "The Hurricane", "In Good Company", Francis Ford Coppola's "Twixt" and Kenneth Branagh's "Jack Ryan: Shadow One".
Paymer received Golden Globe nominations for "Mr. Saturday Night" and for HBO's "Crime of the Century". Paymer became a hyphenate in 2002, directing the acclaimed comedy short "Candor City Hospital" for Showtime. He has since directed over 60 episodes for broadcast television, including such hits as "Grey's Anatomy", "The Mentalist", "Brothers & Sisters", "Medium" & "The Unit". He is also a producer and director on the CW series "Hart of Dixie". Paymer resides in Santa Monica, CA with his wife and two daughters.- Actor

David Mendenhall's career began at the age of four, when he appeared in a commercial for Mattel Toys. By the time he reached his teens his appearances included more than 150 commercials for both television and radio, plus roles on such television shows as "Our House" (two seasons), "Taxi" (two seasons as Marilu Henner's son), "Diff'rent Strokes," "The Twilight Zone," "The David Copperfield Special" (as the young Copperfield), and "The Wayne Newton Special" (as the young Wayne Newton).
From 1979 - 1986, David regularly appeared as "Mike Webber" on ABC's "General Hospital" for which he was honored with a Soapie for "Best Youth Actor In a Daytime Continuing Drama" by the Soap Opera Digest Awards. He also collected several Youth in Film Awards during the same time span, including "Best Youth Actor In A Daytime Drama Series." Soon he became heavily involved in feature films, and by the late 80s, David's image was seen in every major teen magazine. Along the way, he had the opportunity to work alongside major entertainment industry figures representing a spectrum of media and eras, including Danny Kaye, Sammy Davis, Jr., Roger Corman, Danny DeVito, Bill Bixby, Janusz Kaminski, Ruth Buzzi, Brock Peters, Burgess Meredith, Demi Moore, and Menahem Golan.
Movie appearances included opposite Christina Applegate in the gritty thriller "Streets" (1990); with Sally Kellerman and Michael Moriarty in "Secret Of The Ice Cave" (1990); "Going Bananas" (1988) with Dom DeLuise and Jimmy Walker; as the son of Sylvester Stallone in "Over The Top" (1987, for which he infamously "won" two Razzies in the same year - Worst New Star and Worst Supporting Actor); with comedian Johnny Yune in "They Still Call Me Bruce" (1987); as part of an ensemble including Shelley Winters in the thriller "Witchfire" (1985); and co-starring in his first feature with Vince Edwards in Roger Corman's "Space Raiders" (1983).
David's experience in the 80s extended to performing voice-over roles for many cartoon specials, series, and feature films, including: "The Cabbage Patch Christmas Special," "Robo Force," "Puff The Magic Dragon," "The Smurf's Christmas Special," "Kangaroo," "Potato Head Kids," "Galtar," "The Berenstain Bears" (as Brother Bear), "G.I. Joe," "Transformers," "The Transformers Movie," and "The Rainbow Brite Movie." In addition, David recorded several story-albums for Disney Records, including "The Black Stallion," "E.T.," "Gremlins," "Goonies," and "The Swiss Family Robinson."
After the very busy 80s came to a close, and after coping with the loss of his father from cancer, David began a course towards achieving a higher education. In 1998 he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre and Cinema- Television. Next, in further pursuit of his goal to one day form his own production company, he proceeded to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law (2001). Credentials in hand, David began his career anew in the entertainment industry, first, as a contract attorney inside major studio law departments, including the NBC network and Universal Studios. A devoted writer from an early age, Mendenhall also spent time during the 2000s as a journalist for such publications as Indie Slate Magazine and the Daily Journal.
In 2008, Mendenhall pivoted back towards his true passion, entertainment production. He first had the opportunity to spend time behind-the-scenes at work for Lock and Key Productions (Endemol) seasons 3 & 4 of the hit NBC program, "Deal or No Deal." Since then, he's earned producing credits on other prime time network programs.
Over the years, David has also channeled his energy into supporting many non-profit causes. He's participated in numerous special events on behalf of such organizations as the American Cancer Society, The Adam Walsh Foundation, The Just Say No Foundation, The Motion Picture and Television Hospital, the D.A.R.E. program, the March of Dimes, Actors and Others for Animals, the Starlight Children's Foundation, and Make-A-Wish.
A true "theatre person," David continues to participate in stage productions on a regular basis, having appeared in and/or been directly involved with many live productions in the Los Angeles area since the early 90s. He is currently a member of Above The Curve Theatre group. As a professional actor, 2016 marked his 40th anniversary as a member in good standing of Screen Actors Guild-AFTRA; he recently enjoyed playing a feature role in Bobcat Goldthwait's dark comedy "God Bless America." On a regular basis, David also participates as a member of the SAG-AFTRA National Young Performers Committee, which advocates for protections on behalf of children who work in front of the camera.

Rosanne Sorrentino was born on January 15, 1968, in Oceanside, Long Island, New York. She made her professional stage debut in the 3rd National Tour of Annie in 1980-81, playing the title role of Annie.[1][2]
Sorrentino was "bitten by the acting bug" in 1976, when she played a schoolgirl in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts's summer workshop production of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. The play was written by Jay Presson Allen, the wife of Lewis Allen, one of Annie's producers. Rosanne was also a member of her school chorus at Lindenhurst Senior High School and it was under the direction of her school music teacher, Liz Costa, that she developed her love for singing. She was also involved with the Charles Street Players in Lindenhurst High School. Her greatest role being that of Grizabella in their rendition of Cats.
Although Sorrentino received critical acclaim for her stage portrayal of Annie, she was considered too old - at the age of 13 - to be cast as Annie in the film version. Instead, after auditioning, she was offered, and accepted, the role of Pepper - the oldest, and bossiest, orphan.[1][2]- Mike Massimino is a former NASA Astronaut, an New York Times bestselling author, a Columbia University engineering professor, and an advisor at The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. Born in Oceanside, California (1977), Matt Bachrach's love for music began at an early age. Without any formal training, Bachrach found himself drawn to his grandfather's piano stored in the downstairs garage. By age four he could pick out simple melodies on the keyboard and over the next few years found that playing the piano was becoming second nature. Although no one else in the family displayed any connection with music, Bachrach continued to pursue his interest. By age fifteen he had not only become competent on the piano but had also found a talent for the drums and bass guitar.
Bachrach continued to display tremendous talent and excel in music, but his academic achievements up until high school were far below average. By seventeen he had completely given up on the public school system and dropped out of high school for the second time. During that year he worked hard as a bassist and singer for a local rock band by the name of Legend. Although he was dedicated to the band's success, it seemed there were other plans in his future.
One day while on a bus ride through Phoenix, a young woman wearing a shirt with the letters "NSA" printed on the front sat by Bachrach and a conversation begun. She was a student of a new local charter school called the New School for the Arts. Bachrach learned that the school was a high school that offered the regular curriculum along with an emphasis on the performing arts. This was just what Bachrach needed to get his first big break. Within two weeks Bachrach was a student of the school majoring in the music theory program and immersing himself deeply into his passion for music.
Half way through his senior year, Bachrach met guitarist Mike Liebbe and violinist Teresa Paul. Both Liebbe and Paul were accomplished musicians with multiple accolades and extensive performance experience, both of which Bachrach lacked. Within weeks Bachrach's first ensemble, which performed his own original works, was born. Called Paradise Café, after the inspiration of long time friend and mentor Marlene McGoffin, the group took off like a rocket launching from Cape Canaveral. Overnight, Paradise Café, now including drummer Steve Hoffberger, filled every available night of the week with performances ranging from hotels and beautiful resorts to private parties for local artists and celebrities to prestigious events such as the featured entertainment for the National Arts Awards, all this while trying to make the grade and get through high school. However, grades didn't seem to be a problem anymore. After Bachrach found his niche in music, he found himself at the top of his class.
Because of Bachrach's genuine love for people and membership in the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, he found himself donating his time in South Africa just following his graduation from NSA. This was a mission trip associated with his Mormon faith. While overseas he continued to write music as well as give service. He began to study the classical guitar and also delve into African and other ethnic percussion. Africa became the roots of Bachrach's love for world music and influences.
Upon returning to the states, Bachrach sank himself deeply into his music again, writing more than ever before and taking every opportunity to perform as a soloist and with other groups. Bachrach's music seemed to find deeper meaning after seeing the world from a different perspective. As Bachrach's music matured so did the recognition of his dream to share his talents and passion with the world.
After swearing off women to focus on his ever-demanding music career, Bachrach met and fell in love with Brenda Blamires from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. They married not long after, and a year and a half later welcomed into the world their son, Brigham Matthew Bachrach.
Bachrach's career has taken him from coast to coast performing both solo piano and with his band of special guest artists. Between 2002 and 2006, his touring schedule included over 150 live performances annually and a host of special engagements and events. Despite being on a self-owned independent recording label, he was able to sell over 100,000 copies of his CDs at many mall appearances across America. From 2006 and until his untimely death, Matt took a much needed break from touring and recording to relax and focus on his family. During this time, he started a business called the "Meal Factory" (where meals are prepared in advance and you just go home and heat them, thereby saving a lot of time and work) and also started to get involved in film making. In fact, at the time of Matt's tragic accident, he was returning home from a Los Angeles film shoot. At only 31 years old, there was much more that he wanted to accomplish. But his legacy of music, devotion to God and love for his family will certainly inspire others for many years to come.- Producer
